ReferenceBase:Eligibility
ReferenceBase publishes entries on subjects that meet three criteria: the subject exists and can be verified, it has been covered in independent published sources, and it has enough operating history to support a substantive entry. Each is set out below.
Existence
The subject is a real, operating entity. Organizations must have a functioning website; individuals must have a verifiable professional presence.
Coverage
The subject has been covered in at least three independent third-party published sources meeting the site's sourcing standards. This is the binding requirement: a subject without three qualifying sources cannot support a neutral, verifiable entry, and no entry is published.
Maturity
Roughly one year of operating history is preferred, though not strictly required where coverage is otherwise strong.
Eligibility and publication
Meeting these criteria makes a subject eligible for coverage; it does not obligate ReferenceBase to publish, and inclusion is not an endorsement. Entries are published only when the available sources can support a complete, neutral entry.
